Chicken breast is a staple of meal prepping, but like most foods, chicken just isn’t the same the next day. Packed with lean protein, it is the perfect addition to any meal. If you’re tired of dry, flavorless chicken, this recipe will change your life in only 20 minutes.
- What you will need
- boneless skinless chicken breast(s)
- Your favorite cooking oil
- Your favorite seasoning
- One large cooking pan with a lid
- Tongs, or spatula
Let’s get started!
- Heat pan on stovetop, on high
- Season one side of your chicken breast(s) with your favorite seasoning
- Once pan is hot, add 1 Tbsp of your favorite cooking oil to the pan
- Place chicken breast(s) on pan, seasoned side facing down
- Place the lid over the pan, and cook on medium-high/high heat for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes, remove the lid, and flip the chicken, using the tongs or spatula
- Once flipped, season the other side of the chicken breast(s)
- Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 15 minutes of low/medium-low heat
- After 15 minutes, remove the lid and place chicken breast(s) on a plate or meal prep container
