Alright guys, we’re talking about the barbell back squat. Technical lift but one of the best lower body leg exercise that we can be doing. So first thing, want to get underneath the bar here. I want my arms not too close together, not too far apart, so when I unrack the weight I can imagine bending the bar over my back. That’s the first thing we’re going to do. So I’m going to bend it engages my lats, gets my chest nice and big, I’m going to contract my abs, contract my glutes, that sets my spine. From there I’m going to have my feet about shoulder width apart or a little wider. I’m going to be spread out, I’m going to try and force my knees out, and from there sitting back. So I’m breaking the bar, abs, glutes, spreading the floor.
