The TRX is one of our favorite tools at 3Click Fitness. Here are three exercises that you can do to add some spring to your step when you’re running, hiking or playing your favorite sport. The first is a sprinter start. For this, we’ll have our client Lindsay step back to position, lunging forward with that back leg, tucking the knee up towards the chest. Perfect, let’s flip around. Crossing balance lunge – for this one, we’re going to face the anchor point and bring the back leg through the hips in a crossing motion. Perfect, emphasizing those glutes, excellent. Lastly, let’s go to our pistol squat. For this, we’re going to have one leg straight out in front, dropping those hips below 90 degrees and pressing up through that heel. Try to keep the knee behind the toes for this one. Perfect, nice job Lindsay.
